FAQ

Questions we get a lot

How often does my hood need to be cleaned?

NFPA 96 sets minimum inspection frequencies based on what and how much you cook: monthly for solid fuel, quarterly for high-volume cooking (24-hour, charbroiling, wok), semi-annually for moderate volume, and annually for low-volume kitchens. Your fire department or insurer can require more. We'll tell you where your kitchen falls during your quote.

Do we have to close for the cleaning?

No. We can come early in the morning and be gone before your equipment is needed, come in after you close, or work on a day you're closed.

Do I need to be there?

Not unless you want to be. Many customers trust us with keys, lockbox combinations and alarm codes. We let ourselves in and lock up behind us. If you'd like to meet us there, we're happy to see you.

How will I know when my next cleaning is due?

We keep track of it for you and remind you before you're due by phone or text, whichever you prefer.

What do I get after a cleaning?

A written service report and a dated sticker on your hood. Before and after photos are available on request.

Will my kitchen be a mess afterward?

No. We cover your equipment before we start and clean up when we're done. You'll find your kitchen cleaner than we found it.

How much does it cost?

We offer competitive pricing. Every system is different, so we quote in person, and the quote is free. Call anytime at (508) 560-1473.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We're licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services and carry liability insurance.

What area do you serve?

We serve commercial kitchens throughout Massachusetts.

Free in-person quotes. Call anytime.

We'll come look at your system, give you a clear price, and plan your cleanings around your hours.
